Ronald Mendell of Austin, Texas, earned a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts from Excelsior University in 1978. Mendell also received a Master of Science in Network Security from Capitol Technical University in 2005. With 10 years of graduate teaching under his belt at Western Governors University (WGU), he continues instructing information security courses. Recently, he helped develop a course titled Governance, Risk, and Compliance in the Age of AI at WGU. Mendell is the author of How To Do Financial Asset Investigations, fifth edition. His latest Kindle e-book is Keeping the Leopard at Bay: Digital Safety in the Age of AI. He holds a CISSP designation from ISC2 and is a member of the Authors Guild. Mendell lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife, Rebecah, and his dog, Bella.
