There are many forms of financial help offered to enrolled undergraduate and graduate students at Excelsior University.

Applying for Aid

To be considered for any of these options you must complete the U.S. Department of Education’s Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). 

The Excelsior University federal code used for this application is 014251.

Make sure you complete the FAFSA for the year that aligns with the Excelsior academic term in which you’ll be enrolling. See guide below:

Spring I 2026 Term and Spring II 2026 Term: Use 2025–2026 FAFSA
Summer I 2026 Term and Summer II 2026 Term: Use 2025–2026 FAFSA
Fall I 2026 Term and Fall II 2026 Term: Use 2026–2027 FAFSA

Submit your FAFSA along with your request for course approvals to your academic advisor.  This allows you to work with your Excelsior University financial aid advisor to determine the best options for you.
