Associate in Nursing Tuition and Fees

Excelsior College offers affordable nursing degrees that are designed to fit within a working adult’s budget. Financial aid and other cost-saving resources are available for nursing students at all degree levels.

Tuition is charged per exam and on a per-credit basis for online courses. Standard fees apply for application, enrollment, student services, and graduation.

Waived upon completing required number of Excelsior course credits before graduation. Students who do not complete the required number of Excelsior course credits before graduation will be charged the prevailing enrollment fee.

Students enrolled in the Associate in Applied Science  program are required to take a minimum of 12 Excelsior course credits before graduation.

Students enrolled in the Associate in Arts and Associate in Sciences programs are required to take 12 Excelsior course credits before graduation.

Fee shown includes one CPNE attempt. Other associated expenses such as books, study resources, travel, lodging, background checks, or providing any required documentation, are additional.

Students will be responsible for paying an annual fee for each year they continue in the associate degree in nursing program. Waived upon completing the required number of Excelsior course credits per year. Students who do not complete the required number of Excelsior course credits per year will be charged the prevailing SSAF for this option.

The $15 deduction for each Excelsior course credit earned was discontinued as of August 26, 2019.

All students are required to pay the graduation fee. This fee does not apply to Commencement. Our annual Commencement ceremony is held in Albany in July. Registration is required if you wish to attend and there is a small fee for your cap and gown assessed at registration. For more information, visit our Commencement page.

Payment Plans
