Important Dates and Deadlines

Reference the charts below for important dates and course withdrawal deadlines.

Summer 2023

Week 2 5/8/2023- 5/14/2023 Military students (those serving on Active Duty, in the Reserves, or in the National Guard) can withdraw from courses through their MyExcelsior Account with no academic or financial penalty no later than 15 calendar days from the start of the course. After 15 calendar days students will owe the tuition based on the Return of Unearned TA Policy.
Week 3 5/15/2023- 5/22/2023 Last date to cancel with no record on transcript 5/15/2023*
Week 4 5/22/2023- 5/28/2023 Students will start being administratively withdrawn for lack of participation on 5/22/2023.*
Week 7 6/12/2023- 6/18/2023 Last date to withdraw or request extension – 6/18/2023.*

The Summer I 2023(8 wk) term ends on 6/25/2023. Final grades will be available on student’s MyExcelsior page on 7/5/2023.

Week 2 7/3/2023- 7/9/2023 Military students (those serving on Active Duty, in the Reserves, or in the National Guard) can withdraw from courses through their MyExcelsior Account with no academic or financial penalty no later than 15 calendar days from the start of the course. After 15 calendar days students will owe the tuition based on the Return of Unearned TA Policy.
Week 3 7/10/2023- 7/16/2023 Last date to cancel with no record on transcript 7/10/2023*
Week 4 7/17/2023- 7/23/2023 Students will start being administratively withdrawn for lack of participation on 7/17/2023*
Week 7 8/7/2023- 8/13/2023 Last date to withdraw or request extension – 8/13/2023*

The Summer II 2023(8 wk) term ends on 8/20/2023. Final grades will be available on student’s MyExcelsior page on 8/28/2023.

Fall 2023

Week 2 10/30/2023 – 11/05/2023 Military students (those serving on Active Duty, in the Reserves, or in the National Guard) can withdraw from courses through their MyExcelsior Account with no academic or financial penalty no later than 15 calendar days from the start of the course. After 15 calendar days students will owe the tuition based on the Return of Unearned TA Policy.
Week 3 11/06/2023 – 11/12/2023 Last date to cancel with no record on transcript 11/06/2023*
Week 4 11/13/2023 – 11/19/2023 Students will start being administratively withdrawn for lack of participation on 11/13/2023.*
Week 7 12/4/2023 – 12/10/2023 Last date to withdraw or request extension – 12/10/2023*

The Fall II 2023 (8 wk) term ends on 12/17/2023. Final grades will be available on student’s MyExcelsior page on 12/27/2023.

The Spring I 2024(8 wk) term ends on 03/03/2024. Final grades will be available on student’s MyExcelsior page on 03/11/2024.
