3.0 / Lower
The UExcel Statistics examination is based on material typically taught in an introductory, one-semester, three-credit, lower-level undergraduate course in statistics. The examination measures the fundamental concepts of descriptive and inferential statistics and is designed to correspond to a service course applicable to many majors. Questions about the meaning and application of basic statistical ideas are included. Some of the questions involve calculations. A basic knowledge of algebra is assumed. (Multiple-choice examination)
