Taking all three courses prepares you to sit for your Professional Certification Exam which further reinforces your competency in these disciplines.
- Mediation: Employ directive, facilitative, and relational methods to mediate, negotiate, and conquer conflict in almost any situation. Learn how power, gender, and culture inform interventions, and how to use questioning, reflecting, and reframing.
- Workplace Conflict Resolution: Overview of workplace conflict and its costs, mediation in practice, informal and formal arbitration practices, and civil rights, sexual harassment, and disability disputes. Cross-cultural and multi-party issues.
- Arbitration: History of arbitration and issues of jurisdiction; contract analysis; rules of evidence; hearing procedures; award determination; potential remedies; grounds for challenging an award; appeal and judicial review.

MBA Program Outcomes
MBA Degree Credit Requirements
The MBA requires 36 - 45 credits, depending on a student's prior learning. Students may transfer in up to 24 approved credits. The program has 3 foundation requirements that can be waived on the basis of prior upper level undergraduate study in the relevant areas. Approved undergraduate courses must be no older than 10 years, with a grade of B or better. The foundation requirements are:
- Economics
- Organizational Behavior
- Quantitative Analysis
Any waivers will be counted as part of the 24 credits allowed in transfer. See catalog for further details.
