The Role of Nurse Informaticist in Higher Education

Kylie Ackerman, MSN-Ed, MS-NI, RN, CNEn, Associate Degree Nursing Faculty, has published an article on the role of the nurse informaticist in the RN Journal, Journal of Nursing. In her article, Ackerman highlights the potential impact of nursing-focused analysts in higher education, emphasizing how their insights and initiatives can enhance nursing programs and student success (Ackerman, 2024). Notably, Ackerman is also a recent graduate of Excelsior’s Nursing Informatics program, adding depth to her expertise in the field. The RN Journal, established in 2001, stands as one of the internet’s pioneering nursing journals, boasting over 380 published articles to date.
