Excelsior College offers affordable nursing degrees that are designed to fit within a working adult's budget. Financial aid and other cost-saving resources are available for nursing students at all degree levels.
Your Enrollment Options
Excelsior Course Option
If you'll earn 12 or more credits through Excelsior online courses before you graduate, choose the Excelsior Course Option.
If you'll earn fewer than 12 credits at Excelsior before you graduate, choose the Multi-Source Option. This option includes an administrative enrollment fee.
Tuition is charged per exam and on a per-credit basis for online courses. Standard fees apply for application, enrollment, student services, and graduation.

1 Waived upon completing required number of Excelsior course credits before graduation. Students who do not complete the required number of Excelsior course credits before graduation will be switched to the Multi-Source option and charged the prevailing enrollment fee for that option.
Students enrolled in the Associate in Applied Science degree program are required to take a minimum of 12 Excelsior course credits before graduation.
Students enrolled in the Associate in Arts and Associate in Sciences programs are required to take 12 Excelsior course credits before graduation.
2 Fee shown includes NTCX that includes one nursing theory conference and one nursing theory exam attempt. Other associated expenses such as seat fees, books and study resources are additional.
3 Fee shown includes one CPNE attempt. Other associated expenses such as books, study resources, travel, lodging, background checks, or providing any required documentation, are additional.
4 Students will be responsible for paying an annual fee for each year they continue in the Associate Degree in nursing program. Waived upon completing the required number of Excelsior course credits per year. Students who do not complete the required number of Excelsior course credits per year will be charged the prevailing SSAF for this option.
5 $15 will be deducted for each Excelsior course credit earned.
6 All students are required to pay the graduation fee. Our annual Commencement ceremony is held In Albany in July. Registration is required if you wish to attend and there is a small fee for your cap and gown assessed at registration. For more Information visit our Commencement page.

Excelsior College maintains partnerships with employers, colleges, military organizations, and other types of institutions. Students who are affiliated with partner organizations may be eligible for discounts on tuition, student fees, and other costs.
Excelsior College offers payment plans to help working adults fit education costs comfortably within a household budget. You can pay tuition and/or fees in monthly installments, rather than in a lump sum.
