As the Vice President of Human Resources, Mark Howe works with the Board of Trustees, the President, the executive team and human resource professionals to develop human resource policies and programs that promote the exceptional performance and retention of Excelsior’s employees nationwide.
Howe recently served as Vice President, Human Resources, for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, a global learning provider of pre-K-12 education content with 4,300 employees. Howe has more than 20 years of senior-level business and human resources experience in talent management and acquisition, learning & development, executive coaching, business and culture transformation. His career includes time at Cengage Learning, Delmar Learning, and Matthew Bender & Co, Inc. (Lexis Nexis).
Howe also has been involved with Make-A-Wish Foundation of NENY and served on its board of directors.
